Iaf saying its aircraft (surprisingly) didn't crash in kishtwar



So what was it?

IAF denied losing any fighter jet even in Feb 2019 claiming that all aircraft and pilots were accounted for - until vids of Abhinandan getting a beating from civilians in Azad Kashmir got viral on social media.

Kishtwar BTW is the area in Indian occupied J&K that reportedly received most of the fallen IAF jets in May 2025 too. Dense forests, high peaks, and extremely difficult access to its vellies help Indians to hide their losses.
