Yup, these are 40/50 year old jets. Similar situation to our Mirages except we retire more and more every year so have a massive pool of spare parts and also PAC are experts at rebuilding and zero lifeing airframe. India lacks all this. They are desperately trying to keep 6 Sqds (120 planes) active with no large pool do spares. They have bought up what few Jags remain globally, some of them in worse condition then their own planes.
