But above items being pakistani food is wrong actually... they are Indian items.... yes they were introduced by mughals.... infact your own youtubers like zia tabarak or Rana humza admits in many videos that all the cousins inside Pakistan are either from purani Delhi, lukhnow or Hyderabad.... Biryani, tandoori, Tikka, daal show me one item that you can confidently say its pakistani.... even in abroad these all items are known as Indian than pakistani....

It is Mughal food. There was no India until partition when the "British Empire" control of South Asia came to an end ( The British took over from the Mughal Empire ...). "India" is a new creation..

Anyway, back to discussing the piss poor state of the IAF, equally as interesting as your attempts at cultural appropriate of Islamic creativity as your own as the Hindu's of South Asia have not really created anything of substance or value... Not the Tejas, or food... or the ability to even run an effective Airforce..

Seriously, I think people underestimate the seriousness of the probem, what caused this bottleneck right now is that 20 years ago they failed to sign for MRFCA, so as a result MIG-27/MIG-23/MIG-21 Sqds were retired with no replacement and some of that hope was pinned on Tejas. Both Tejas and MRFCA did not come through. What many do not realise is that boat has not only sailed and passed, but that should have been followed of for planning for SU-30/Mirage2K/MIG-29 replacement. Even this has not happend as Tejas MK2 has no first flight and 5th Gen is nowhere.

Basically they not only missed the boat 20 years ago due to MRCA/Tejas c**k up, but looking at missing the boat now on the SU-30/Mirage2K/MIG-29 replacement.

They need so much to go right, as in 10 years they will have 120 Jaguars, 60 Mirage2Ks, 50 MIG-29 and 180 SU-30s that need replacing (as only 80 are being upgraded)

That is a total of 410 planes. So they need Tejas, Tejas MK2 and 114 Rafale order to come good.

It is total block obsolesence

It totally blows my mind, how a service with soo much money can do such poor fleet management, such poor pilot training and retention, and such poor fleet renewal. We should be grateful of this of course, but still this stuff is the stuff of legends.

Given how invested the IAF is in the Su30MKI fleet in its infrastructure and services, and how applicable the servicing capabilities for this platform to the Su57E, why did the IAF not go for the Su57E??? There is so much commonality there, that given the state of the IAF, they should have gone for the Su57E just to keep their fleet "viable", but instead, they have chosen to focus solely on the AMCA.

And, if that project fails, or is delayed, then your scenario will come into play of block obsolesence. They are resting their "hopes" on the AMCA, as they did with the MRFCA and then the Tejas ...... They never learn??

Lack of proper strategic planning, and risk management is simply not there as a core capability in the IAF it seems.

Imagine, if PAF had available to it the same funding level available to the IAF, what the PAF will look like ?

IAF Pilot shortfall is now 596, Hawk servicability is 70% and that is one of their newer platforms, safe to say likes of SU-30/Mirage 2000 are much lower

But was will proposal be "cleared"? Then after that when will Cabinet committee "approve"? After that when will finance ministry "clear"? After that when will Prime Ministers Office give the "Green Light"?

When all this is done then "Final Vendor negotiations" will commence right?

Shows you done know basic order. Cabinet committee orders come last.
This are the steps now:
Cost and Negotiations commitee
Finance Ministry approval.
PMO Vetting.
Cabinet Committee of security approval (last step).
