Indian Air Force News and Discussions ll

HAL officials had stated as recently as 2025 that the type was maintaining a 70% serviceability rate.

Let me know if you can read English
I am talking about pilots number.

Anyways 70% is acceptable serviceability rate for trainers.

USAF T-38 trainers has serviecabilty rate of 55%.

Wow, state of IAF much worse then we thought. Lets see Indians try and spin this....
Be very surprised now if the SU-30 is even near 50% serviceability

Especially now that Russia is cut off from the Western supply chain even for the nominal ICs and precision equipment, the Chinese ICs must be their only option. I am pretty sure China has a say on the end users conditions....

Now Pakistan air force inventory
F 15 = 250
Eurofighter = 100+ 50
F 16 = 400
JF 17= 250
J 10 C= 36
Kaan = 20
C 17 = 120
Drones=
Helicopters
Trainer jets
AEW&C=

Yes with indigenization of many components serviceability has improved.

Literally the article is stating the IAF has not even begun the indigenisation process, basically you do not want to actually believe your own eyes or the words of the IAF. That is fine by me.

Every post of yours on here gets more desperate.

Sorry to burst your bubble here but

70% is low

UASF T-38s are 60/70 years old. IAF Hawks are 18 years old. Get a grip of yourself....
