Pakistan nuclear doctrine is public. Nukes are in play if India try to divert or stop water. The dam will be destroyed with conventional missiles. Where it lead to will depend on India response.

As I’ve said before — in the event of a conflict, India would most likely target Pakistani sites using conventional missiles.

Anyone who believes that India’s immediate response would be to destroy a dam or similar civilian infrastructure is simply fooling themselves.

India’s primary targets would always be critical installations — such as missile sites, airbases, and key military infrastructure.
If Pakistan uses aircraft, India may focus on airbases. If missiles are used, then India would go after those missile sites and supporting systems.

This is quite obvious and aligns with standard military strategy.

Topic is already mostly already ruined and diverged in all possible directions as per usual on internet, so i will add my contribution also.
I see that indians are advocating for "strategic patience" and construction war, why is that stupid, well in 10 years all technological advantage that they now currently have in certain extent will vanish and be reversed fully into Pakistan favor which will be armed to the teeth by China and Turkiye and actually could become bully instead of defender.
So, from strictly military point of view india is almost in position now or never both are risky with no visible favorable outcome, if there is any sane head among hindutva nazis they would sit on the table to try make some goodwill agreement on every disputing points but that is also less likely as they are in delusional dominance mode in terms of doing politic, so in essence they will come back what they do best which is lynching innocent muslim civilians around india for their own twisted gratifications.
