So...uhhhh....Pakistan just caught an Indian BSF soldier

Abhinandan 2.0?

Pakistan should preempt and destroy the dams and this blackmail policy should stop. every nation has the right to defend its people. India can defend herself by blowing up Pakistani dams.. Tit for Tat. who will be the bigger lose in this ?? Thoughts ?
That would be a disaster for Pakistan, as all the water will rush and flood Pakistani territory, displacing hundreds of thousands of Pakistan, if not millions, and destroying hundreds of millions of dollars worth of property.

Destroying dams is ALWAYS a last resort, and never a desirable option.

Noone will benefit as both nations are fully capable to destroy each other. India as usual is the aggressor, they will use any means necessary to weaken Pakistan. Pakistan needs to build a hardline policy on India and it's aggression, if we show weakness regarding the water issues, India will continue to blackmail Pakistan, we have already shown weakness on Kashmir and still we are being bullied. Our rulers need to get their heads checked out.

This is the first resort, it will stop the crises once and for all. pakistani dams are empty anyways

Please don't underestimate Gaza. The unarmed folks there are braving there the most brutal attacks on them.....
You are indeed correct. My reference was not regarding the firmness of their resolve, but rather with regards to their level of military equipment.

This is why Pakistan cannot allow India to build dams on our rivers, if we stay quiet and submit as usual we will dig our own grave. India on the other hand thinks of itself as a superpower who can do whatever they feel like.

They have attacked via IVT

That is intended to hurt waaay more than an air skirmish
How are they going to divert and stop such massive flows of water? Indus is no small stream. And their vedick tech certainly can't defy gravity.
They will militarily attack within weeks
I really doubt it.

And a sudden rush of water slamming against those Pakistani dams would destroy them as well.

You would stop 1 crisis, but create 10 more crises.
