OMG. Both Jackson Hinkle and George Galloway not buying Indian version! They, along with Ben Norton, were smart enough to have seen India's two-faced policies when the Gaza war started. Unfortunately, our Persian friend who engaged with us yesterday in this thread didn't see the two faced India and instead referred to some nonconsequential UNGA votes where the vast majority of the world voted in favor of the Palestinians anyway. I don' think modern India, as a nation, is capable of genuine international friendships: It is all about 'advantage' and money. Maybe the pre 1990 India was.

It was not just Pakistan but also India's initiative and the budding agreement between Manmohan Singh and Musharraf in mid 2000s was so unpopular with some Kashmiris that they did TWO suicide bombings on Musharraf where he barely escaped death. But now you have some rabid dogs in power with delusions of grandeur! Your current political class is stupid and even suicidal if it thinks that having a heavily armed, religiously charged nation of 240 million next to you could be 'parched' without serious consequences.

I would say Galloway's view is far far more substantive and thorough...he understands this more deeply

Hinkle gets the views and middle east traffic
