Could previous intrusion attempts by Indian submarines have been a prelude to what may be planned?

The Pakistan Navy intercepted and tracked an Indian submarine on March 1 (Tuesday), the military's media affairs wing said on Thursday.

In a tweet, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said that the navy's anti-submarine unit intercepted and tracked the "latest Kalvari class Indian submarine".

"The recent incident being the fourth detection in [the] last five years is [a] reflection of Pakistan Navy’s competence and resolve to defend maritime frontiers of Pakistan," he said on Twitter, sharing video footage of the submarine.

Strikes will be from sea. Not sure what they will hit. But i don't really see how this doesn't trigger a war. We seriously need better naval power and airforce. 5th gen aircraft and guided missile crusiser and submaries are desperately needed.
Not many options I am afraid aside wait for them. They do have a massive advantage here and all the PN could do is hurt enough to deter them. But if they really push it we could see Karachi blockaded.

Economy and lack of funds have rekt us. I guess we need to focus on IT alot to get things moving. That's the one fastest way we can increase exports and also send as many skilled labour abroad as possible. Remittances will definitely help. Brain drain might happens but still send people abroad.

Yeh urdu mien likha hai uncle ne. Language selection so that he doesn’t go in bad books.

Actually, he has been defending Pakistan in last several days and carries considerable audience in America.
Can't say the same about some other Pakistani 'journalists' who invite the likes of Christina Fair.

100%. It's the water I am worried, we have Karachi sitting there. Damn the years of neglect, the navy is great and led by a capable man but sadly it would take time for the ships and submarines to arrive. Pakistan may be out of time in that regard.
I think the 2014/15 budget report first time revealed ISI budget which was greater than PN

The thing is the Indians are trying very hard to portray themselves as a power in the same league as the US, Russia, China, and Israel. All I see from their side is how they will "punish" Pakistan as if we're some small fry nation without a potent defense. The Indian Hindu mind is fried deeply. It's about perception. The previous "surgical" drama were to build up the Indian confidence and destroy Pakistan's morale. Bajwa the Qadiani would've let 2019 go uncontested but luckily we retaliated. Perception is everything. The Indian is a timid race. He wants to be seen as a strong powerful nation but the more he tries, the more obvious that he is sheer incompetent. He will launch BMs from the Sea and and then make tons of propaganda movies about how he hit back at "terror." Pakistan cannot let this go no matter what. Whatever they do, we need to and have to respond with 3x as many strikes. We cannot allow this dangerous situation to become a permanent doctrine for them. Our people will not stand for this at all! He wants to choke us off slowly like the Jews have done to the Palestinians. Dangerous situation and I'm glad we have Asim Munir at the helm. I take back every negative things I've said about him in my previous post.

I personally think that both the domestic Pakistani missiles and Chinese anti ship supplies, fired from coastal batteries, could lift a blockade of Karachi fairly quickly, or at least within a week or two
. (Ukraine sank the moskva with a coastal battery)

Unless India decides to conduct its blockade from way out near the Persian Gulf or far in the Arabian sea (somehow), I think it is unlikely that they would be willing to risk their ships close enough to Karachi to pose a significant threat.
(INS Vikrant has also returned to port, so they have no real air cover rn)

India has so far not given any demands to Pakistan. This makes me think that they either wish to shake the Pakistani morale a little bit more through sporadic strikes and more military threats and then ask for demands.... Or they are thinking long term and now are maneuvering to properly eliminate Pakistan as a force, from the South Asian geopolitical field through all possible points of leverage. (Karachi blockade, IWT suspension, extremely hot IB and LOC.
What would inevitably follow is a coordinated offensive against Azad Kashmir or GB, with positioned troops against Lahore and a looming Karachi blockade attempt if Pakistan tries to fight on.

We will see, Indian media seems to be talking big game and the way that Modi has rolled his dice in the past week has seemed to confirm it, especially with him using Pahalgam as a Gambit to drop the hammer on the IWT
Offensive was always coming brother. The entire conflict of kashmir has been based on water to subjugate Pakistan into submission.

The question is how will we respond and what the nuclear posture will be. Frankly speaking if things do get hot, the best bet is to test a nuclear device and ready missiles. That would force global intervention and restraint.

We'll know what happens in the next 4 days. If nothing happens, then the long game will be played.

It is too early to say anything, but Pakistan is not taking any chances this time. The message is clear, we are not messing around. The threat perception is at an all time high thing that should not be discussed on open forums.

Rest assured are armed forces are ready. So long as men like this are securing our front line, we have nothing to fear, believe in god and pray for peace but be prepared for war because the enemy is inebriated in bloodlust.

What is hard to miss this time is that Pakistanis WANT India to attack first and then the bloodbath will start. Indians miscalculated with the 'abeyance' of the IWT and by Modi's senior cabinet members making statements like 'not one drop of water will be allowed into Pakistan'. How could they have not anticipated the ongoing reaction in Pakistan where every Pakistani is brought up with 'Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vein' understanding as said by Pakistan's founder Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah??

Even I want India to start by attacking to give Pakistan the causus belli! Pakistan may go bankrupt and taking many casualties and destruction but so will India which will be pushed back decades BUT the perennial threat of EVER using water blackmail will be removed.

They expected Pakistani society to be a lot more fractured which is why they timed this now. They still don't understand we are all family.

You can see their frustrations when they end up going after the COAS just like they did with Musharraf.

The only way to solve this is to find a way to humiliate them so badly they never try this again.

I think a limited strike in AJK is imminent with the possibility of creating a buffer zone as an excuse following global land grab campaign.

They will try to take territory. With that being said they will try to use their navy to blockade karachi to prevent a hot war. Their navy is posturing quite a lot and TBH they'll carry out brahmos missile strikes to take out defence infrastructure.

They called our nuclear deterence a bluff. Regardless strikes are imminent.

Im retaliation we need to take out an S400 batteries atleast near IOJk. Fatah 2 or fatah 1 or even a cruise missile strike would be required.

I think this is the biggest threat the country has ever seen.
A buffer zone creation is not a viable option for India as we would simply pulverise any buffer zone with artillery and missiles.

They would have to carry out a stand-off strike and then return and await our response from their side of the border/ LoC, or invade with full intent.

Naval blockade is definitely plausible but we have watched Ukraine closely and how they embarrassed Russia repeatedly with few naval assets.

India won't be able to stomach significant losses like the Russians can. They'll panic as usual and shoot their own aircraft down - haven't they just run over some of their own citizens with a tank ffs?

A couple of big hits from us and the ascetics will be out of their little caves leading candle lit vigils.

And our response to that dub low IQ minister is also clear. In fact response has already been given on official level. We would get our water. Period
Why are you responding to this poster? He's the enemy. All of them are collectors here. Make all of them persona non grata while we wait for war to be thrust upon us. They are here to undermine morale here and collect data points for their intel services.

Port Qasim started few years ago. Another one is Gwadar which is totally functional for trade if called upon. And we have naval base Orama can be converted to trade. All of them are linked by newly built highways to Karachi Pakistan has many options.
