Like I said before, there will be no war.
Modi might opt for strikes like in 2019, but he knows Pakistan will retaliate to restore status quo, so despite the bluster on Twitter and YouTube, it's looking unlikely he's gonna do anything drastic.

According to BD historian Prof Taj Hashmi, Modi has made a grave miscalculation by playing the Hindu-Muslim divide card to get domestic political mileage (more Hindu votes, grabbing Muslim institutions etc.) while threatening Pakistan with a war. The strong stand of China and Turkey with Pakistan has put Bharat into a back foot. The West is all after the winners. President Trump has ZERO sympathy for any non-White folk....

The refusal and then subsequent arrest of an Indian core commander level general is likely just a tip of the iceberg. Given the former roles and postings of the arrested Indian general is indicative of serious differences among Indian military high command.
Modi is bent upon pushing Indian generals onto harms way to achieve his political goals (i.e. electoral wins in state elections). Some spineless generals might be willing to toe Modi's hardline whereas those having professional integrity are unwilling to be used as a tool by Modi.

Who'd want to fight and die under such sold-out souls? It means catastrophe. The young soldiers must have an unqualified trust on the unified command to wage battles....
As for the Pak side, the difference can't be clearer! The Pak soldiers will be fighting like those in the army of Hazret-i Huseyn (RA) in Karbala to safeguard their water resources! Forget about who's in command....

PM Modi expressed full confidence in the armed forces' professionalism in responding to Pahalgam attack and reaffirmed, “We are resolved to crush terrorism.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a key security meeting on Tuesday that the armed forces have full operational freedom to determine the mode, targets, and timing of India’s response to the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 people, mostly tourists.
During a high-level security meeting, PM Modi reaffirmed, “It is our national resolve to deliver a crushing blow to terrorism.”
Modi expressed full trust and confidence in the professionalism of the armed forces. “They have complete operational freedom to decide on the mode, targets, and timing of our response,” government sources quoted Modi as saying.
On Tuesday, PM Modi chaired a meeting with India's top defence officials, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and the heads of the three armed services.
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan also participated in the meeting, held as India assessed its response options following the Pahalgam terror attack.

‘Punishment would be beyond their imagination’
Earlier, reacting to the attack, PM Modi vowed to track down the terrorists responsible and their supporters, specifically referring to Pakistan, which has a history of sponsoring terrorism against India. He promised to bring them to justice, stating that the punishment would be "beyond their imagination."Previously, the Modi government had conducted surgical strikes in Pakistan following the 2016 Uri attack on Indian army soldiers, and the Balakot airstrike after the Pulwama attack on CRPF personnel.
In response to the Pahalgam attack, India has implemented several measures targeting Pakistan, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty with the neighbouring country.
Earlier in the day, Union home secretary Govind Mohan had convened a high-level meeting attended by the heads of the three paramilitary forces and senior officers from two other security agencies. The agenda for the meeting has not been officially disclosed.
