Don't underestimate them. They are more careful this time around. They are planning their tactics and testing the waters. After the Abhinandan humiliation they cannot afford another spanking.

Pakistan needs to be prepared at all times and come up with its own tactics. Any misadventure needs to be countered swiftly and professionally. The time before the storm is a blessing and needs to be utilised very carefully.

Indian can easily use its airforce to target Pakistan or a minimum ground attack, Pakistan cannot do much about it, Pakistan can also do the same. Only issue will be to stay in each other airspace or hold any territory.

Funnily enough, I used to read the print copy of the Economist every Monday/Tuesday during my commute when I used to be poor and naive.

If Modi were not so stupid to repeat Nehru's 'Forward' policy of the 50s against China, then China would be probably the same as it was until about early 2010s. In the 50s, a little whiff of 'anti communist' Western support led to Modi making China an enemy. In the 2010s, the Western red carpets to India starting about year 2000, culminated in making China enemy again, thus undoing decades of hard work to repair ties. And just very recently, even Bangladesh, which was India's negation of the Two Nation Theory, parted with India. What a stupid guy Modi and his henchmen are when it comes to foreign policy!

I think Pakistan military has done superbly, responding very quickly

It's ability to send forces and equipment has been tested and they've done very well

India will hope for a event that they can claim some sort of victory out of, but Pakistans build up, array of weapons and fast response and has blunted India

Over the next 5 years we need to ensure our bases are covered, all the subs arrive and a our naval ships have all the required hardware

I think we need to expand our AD networks and ad a home grown SAM we can make in bulk whilst China or Turkey provide the high end solution

I'm fine with JF17s being prioritised for export customers, but unless J35s are just around the corner a increase of J10s to a solid 50 mark is necessary

Drones are vital, both home grown solutions and off the shelf

We are lucky both China and Turkey have taken massive steps in drone warfare but I want Pakistan to be able to mass produce FPV drones that would make any Indian incursion a bloody affair
