Make sense, and I bet lots of new Chinese war toys are discounted or free post 2020. Economically we are worse, budget have not increased much. Yet the gap vis vis India have closed... India is scared to death to do anything right now.

Problem is, most Indians will see this and will believe it. And most Modi voters and their public will then expect that Pakistan is some pushover they can target for free whenever they wish to take their anger out.
This stupidity has led them to the point where they’re searching for a cost free way of hitting a peer military and not getting hit back, urged on their public and media frothing at the mouth.

let the time come! Modi in 2019 threw IAF under the bus! and exposed it. now he has thrown its Navy and Army into it.
Just Understand what is the green signal. basically as leader (Modi Sarkar) told the armed forces of India that they have a free hand and Green signal to avenge.
Govts do not do that - Armed forces dont work like this. they are given orders they obliged (they take losses or victory) everything/all the consequences is taken by Govt on there head!. here Modi has effectively put all his armed forces under the bus.
if they succeed - who will take credit! Modi Govt.
If they are smashed - who is to Blame? Armed forces as they were not able to do what was required by Govt. all the heads of armed forces would be feeling the crunch! the pressure to do something is mounting. if they dont the heads will roll.
this is where mistakes - miscalculations comes in. this where blunders happens.
By the way, i have heard they have re-deployed INS VIRAAT in indian ocean. ? any news on this?

I suspect hearing Bolton redirect Indian rage to china and the general USA softening to Pakistan is telling India that now is the time to take china seriously .....always softly kind of.... but they are turning certain screws
Indians don't want that Chinese smoke, they really really do not, I suspect the shrill sounds coming from India are an attempt to justify focus back to Pakistan hence the world gave it the cold shoulder
Also do not forget the magnanimous patheticness the iaf broadcast earlier this year....either they want the f35s or just want to be no threat in general for as long as possible

Indians are playing with fire and world have stopped playing along with them. Bharat think he can play proxy terrorism game and break Pakistan internally without direct involvement.
The message to the world is clear, Pakistan have gun on its head and is blackmailing the world with nuclear fallout just like Shekhar Gupta says, another gashti da bacha punjabi hindu dalit. Solve Kashmiri issue or go down with crazy generals of Pakistan.
