This is why drastic changes are needed. To stop the decline and change the trajectory.

Btw, I don’t know the specifics, but our officials and diplomats shouldn’t allow themselves to be humiliated by the Indians. The Indians are not in a mindset to behave diplomatically and observe any norms.

What Col Taimur did was wrong, as it portrayed us as savages. It was not necessary to respond to some random indians and win but fail in the media war.

If not then India is not supportive of brics currency and will becoming more Western aligned

China is more important to Russia than India… and China is standing with Pakistan. Russia is engaged in war so it wouldn’t want to see her allies fighting with each other making it difficult for Russia

You are right on how this is a tricky situation for diplomats, and perhaps we shouldn’t be too harsh on them trying to navigate this moment.

On the changes. This moment should make us realize the Indians think they have found their causus belli to start all kinds of corrosion against Pakistan. We knew they were doing it but now they do it out in the open.

I would hope the state could orient itself to focus on dealing with the challenge in a grand strategy kind of way. Diplomatic and economic landscape will need to change if we are to combat this threat adequately. On the water front we will have to build our own dams and canals to adjust for the way India will be sending or holding water; we will have to be careful with the water that is coming through to us.

A talk, which I haven’t fully listen too yet, if the following, which may raise interesting points. The one thing I disagree with is negotiating with the Indians thinking they will give better terms than we already have. We need to fight tooth and nail at every fora and against every move they make, if we are to adequately safeguard our water. Population is projected to increase by 55% in the next 35 years. We need every drop of water we can get.

Pahalgam victim’s widow trolled for peace appeal​

Himanshi urged people not to target Muslims and Kashmiris

Himanshi Narwal, widow of Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal who was killed in the 22 April Pahalgam incident, is facing vicious trolling online after appealing for peace and unity.

At a blood donation camp held on 1 May—her late husband's birthday—Himanshi urged people not to target Muslims and Kashmiris, saying, “We want peace and only peace… those responsible should be punished.”

Her plea, widely circulated by news agencies, sparked a wave of hateful and baseless allegations on social media. Trolls accused her of wanting to grab property and compensation, and even suggested links to terrorists.

One user linked to the BJP ally Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) called her the “mind-washed face of Indian secularism.”

Indian publication The Quint found images of the user with LJP insignia and Chirag Paswan, but received no immediate response from the party.

Another Pahalgam victim's daughter, Arathy Menon, also faced abuse after acknowledging the help she received from local Kashmiris.

Despite the trolling, support poured in for Himanshi. Lalitha Ramdas, wife of the late Admiral L Ramdas, praised her as the “perfect fauji wife” for upholding secular and constitutional values.

Just Understand what is the green signal. basically as leader (Modi Sarkar) told the armed forces of India that they have a free hand and Green signal to avenge.

Govts do not do that - Armed forces dont work like this. they are given orders they obliged (they take losses or victory) everything/all the consequences is taken by Govt on there head!. here Modi has effectively put all his armed forces under the bus.

if they succeed - who will take credit! Modi Govt.

If they are smashed - who is to Blame? Armed forces as they were not able to do what was required by Govt. all the heads of armed forces would be feeling the crunch! the pressure to do something is mounting. if they dont the heads will roll.

this is where mistakes - miscalculations comes in. this where blunders happens.


By the way, i have heard they have re-deployed INS VIRAAT in indian ocean. ? any news on this?

In contrast to a clear and present dissent b/w Bharati Deep State (modulated by the Western capital & investments) and her top military leaders, the Pak Deep State is remarkably coherent and independent of the Western finances. Its approach to the strategic and existential issues is with a damn heavy cloak of secrecy! It's almost impossible to fully reckon their moves......
