What the US wants is for India to become cannon fodder for China, like Ukraine has become for Russia - then after China steamrolls India, whatever is left of Bharat gau mata is cut up by the qassai (US) and distributed among global powers. That means India will not be allowed to engage in a suicidal war against Pakistan, which would increase Chinese influence in the region.

If Indians get F-35 you can bet the Americans will never let IAF use it against Pakistan for anything other than a face-saving Balakot type strike. F-35s, like Ukrainian F-16s, will only be delivered in numbers small enough to be a nusaince to China but not big enough to turn India into a regional superpower.

However, the rabid Indian Hindu masses need to be pacified with some face saving measure, else there will be massive internal unrest against Modi and Indian minorities (also why Indian 'Muslim' Politicians have lost their mind committing blasphemy against Gabriel and Nizam-e-Mustafa in hopes of appeasing Hindus. Just as Jinnnah predicted.)

I am not justifying the move. I am stating the facts as it is.

And it wouldn’t be the first of such moves by the humankind. There have been bigger ecological disasters across the world due to human greed and selfishness.

As of now suspension of IWT isn’t likely to have any impact. It would be many years before any infrastructure can be created and any impact felt. And there can be many more developments in the intervening period.
Who knows what would happen then.
