Because they consider their “parties” more important than Pakistan and their views more holy than collective commonalities

I am glad that you see through the charade of Imran Khan. My issue with you is that you seem to think that Imran Khan is redeemable: I don't see that. The guy is psychotic, Narcissist, stupid and he showed those traits as a cricketer. Watch his victory speech after winning the 1992 World Cup which was a collective work. That should tell you what kind of a monster the Pakistani Establishment bred to counter other political parties.
But he is not the only one who was propped up by the Establishment and faced the music.
As someone said just a few pages before me: All political parties of Pakistan have faced the Danda of the Pakistani Establishment: The once mighty PPP is finished in Punjab, the once mighty MQM is fragmented and crippled, the once mighty Noon League is greatly crippled in Punjab. PTI is alive because its leader cunningly tapped into the perennial Anti Americanism of Pakistanis and was given the space for that for one year: The popularity which Imran Khan had lost by his NCM vote in April 2022 was regained because he tapped unresisticted into the Anti Americanism: It is a MAGA-like popularity: Based on emotions, not rationalism. But unlike other political parties, which were chastened by the Pakistani Establishment, Imran's stupid ego is so high and mighty that he wouldn't do real politic for the betterment of Pakistan.

If only the guy was half as smart and his henchmen were half as capable as they claim to be then I'd support them. But they are not--they too are cut from the same cloth as the others but they are ruled by a one man 'leadership' with no collective wisdom.
I hope you/others understand--really understand--what I am saying here.

I live in Khuiratta (کھوئیرٹہ ). Nothing unusual.
Loc is very calm here (so far).
May the peace and common sense prevail. This region and it's people can't afford or resist a conventional war let alone nuclear. Worrying times for all.

As much as I want peace and things to be stable in this region and particularly in Pakistan but the fact remains that there is a cancer in India and as far as I know cancer can't be cured with disprine

The way India and Pakistan wage 'war' against each other is like Desis fighting on the streets with each other, which resembles girly ways. Looks like a combination of 'Kushti' and 'Kabbadi'. LOL! And that's for the better: Less bloodshed, less historic baggage, and more chances for eventual rapprochement.
The way the Europeans wage war is on an altogether different scale! Total War. "Barbarism" would be apt word for them.
Exactly right

Does anyone ever get hurt in desi fights?I ask as an observation....

So I guess your inner barbarian can take you some......ahem
