what are the chances that the Chinese might have done that through Pakistan? I hardly believe that the Pakistani Cyber team is that capable.

In turn got 1971 war that divided Pakistan.

Pakistan can't make India out go out of pakistan despite the militancy of 3 decades and now India is doing tit for tat by sponsoring Baluchistan movement., If it were up to me I would have founded people in Lahore to break pakistan.

Pakistan have to understand, it can't blackmail India or scare Indians with nukes. Even 1000 nukes would not scare us. If there is nuclear war and 500 million Indians die in Pakistani nuclear attack, there would still be one billion Indians left. At the same time we would make sure not a single Pakistani left to take its name.

So I would suggest Pakistan give up its dream of snatching Kashmir away from India and instead work on the 250 million people currently living in Pakistan. India would happily accept the status quo.

All Indians dams on chenab are run of the river dams which can't stop any water
 
People are taking it too lightly these run of the river dams are as dangerous as having proper dams.

India can do complete blockade during harsh summer months which will have devastating causes down stream.

India has multiple run of the river dams on both Chenab & Jhelum.

The control is absolutely scary - because it’s not just about stopping water but also letting it go to cause devastating floods. Its essentially another super weapon which is why Pakistan should technically consider India declaring first use and raise it’s nuclear alert levels.

Unless India(and the world) is certain assured destruction is now in play and all their ideals of superpower or largest economy are about to be irradiated - this crisis will leave India getting away with a move that will end Pakistan in the future and cause massive humanitarian crises.

Agreed, best thing Pakistan can do though is fight the media war here, let the international media see some of the potential consequences, build a narrative. Then when India mess with the water, strike and strike hard.

Indias problem is they want to build the narrative later, not before.

Again the fault partially lays on Pakistani policy makers when the treaties for water & leverage over these rivers was being put into force which buffoon agreed to such heavy control in terms of run of river dams.

There should have been a limit to the amount of dams India can build on the Chenab & Jhelum.

Pakistan has always been caught sleeping these aren't old projects these are fairly new dams.

India has been flooding Pakistan by releasing water before the monsoon season,
Pak got massive floods in 2010 and 2022. Pakistan has a history of floods and droughts,
but nothing has been done by the GHQ.
