This isn't guided, just an add-on propulsion module. Actual ramjet artillery shell will take time but will have small warhead to make space for engine and guidance and navigation control section.

India Purchases Belarusian Berkut-BM Kamikaze Drones

India has acquired several dozen Belarusian-made Berkut-BM strike unmanned aerial vehicles, developed by the Belarus-based company Indela.

The Berkut-BM is a jet-powered loitering munition, according to Defence Blog.

The system is powered by a compact Chinese Swiwin micro turbojet engine, enabling high subsonic dash speeds. This propulsion configuration significantly reduces the platform’s vulnerability to interception by enemy air defense and counter-UAS systems, enhancing its survivability during terminal attack phases.

The system’s technical specifications indicate that the system is capable of reaching speeds of up to 410 km/h and has an operational range of approximately 150 km, depending on the mission profile and flight altitude.

The drone carries a 10 kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead, intended for the destruction of radar systems, air defense assets, artillery positions, and logistical hubs.

The Berkut-BM is launched via a catapult system, enabling deployment from forward operating positions without the need for runways or fixed launch infrastructure.

Previously, Belarus exported this system to Russia, Venezuela, Algeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces.

Recently, large numbers of domestic orders were given.

Too many drones and anti drone systems are being inducted

In other words, India is looking to how it can achieve it's objectives without needing to ever engage in air to air combat that leads to sure shot loss or even need to use aircraft as a launch platform for anything other than specific pin point attacks because even those sortie's need it to launch AEWs and put pilots in extreme risk for one single SCALP shot.

The lesson from this transition in warfare has to be hardening, dispersal, keeping costs low vis a vis platforms, amongst other things.

Hopefully Pakistan will be comparing notes with its partner Türkiye, and their partners in Ukraine, as to how best to counter as well as employ these tactics.

Well between corruption and past "experience" with substandard product, buying Indian is not easy. Still these foreign purchases are small (we bleed over submarines or planes mostly) and if India system works on foreign ground, they will be forced to buy it in future.
