Seems AAD and PAD systems are set to join Indian Army.....

With this we have our homemade ABM system which is far superior to S400....

MIRV, saturation attack with plenty of decoys and low cost drones/missiles overwhelming the BMD.
None of them are simple.

MIRV requires a lot of work and even then it is vulnerable to mid course interception. Decoys gets burned up in atmosphere making them useless in endo atmosphere interception. Drones are not even worth mentioning here. And no, drones do not carry nukes. Ballistic missiles can.

AAD and PAD were part of Phase 1, which is completed. Now, we've moved on to Phase 2 with AD-1 and AD-2. Yesterday's test was of the AD-1. And these BMD systems will be operated by the SFF, not the Indian Army. The Army will only operate Barak 8, QR-SAM, and Akash Prime.

The comparison isn't accurate, bro. The S-400 isn't a full-fledged BMD system. It has limited TBM capability, meaning it can handle up to tactical ballistic missiles. Our homegrown BMD system is designed to target and intercept enemy MRBMs, IRBMs, and ICBMs. It can also target aircraft maneuvering at long range.

Janes 2022 report: AD-1 interceptor is the endo-atmospheric and low exo-atmospheric component of India's Phase-II BMD programme. The system is designed to intercept missiles such as the Chinese DF-16, DF-17, and DF-21, as well as aircraft manoeuvring at long range.

BMD's are only good for one off missile being launched by a rouge nation/group, but against large missile/drone arsenal, they are pretty useless as Iran so vividly demonstrated recently.
Saturation attack is impossible to intercept anywhere. But by doing a saturated attack, the enemy is also losing a large amount of ballistic missiles on just 1 target which otherwise would have been used to hit many targets. So, even then BMD would have reduced the damage taken by 75-80% on the overall country which is the goal.

Pakistan's got zero expertise for MIRV, let alone getting it into their arsenal.

Tragically for you, and what is hard for many Indians to comprehend is we dont need to master everything. We have the world's second largest economy and superpower to help us. Thankfully due to inept Indian diplomacy and arrogance, Chinese will never miss an opportunity to do that if it means tying down more Indian assets.

Technology wise you are essentially competing against Pakistan + Chine=a. This is how f**ked you are but do not realise it yet

PL-15, J-10C, Abadeel, J-31, Military level Beidou.

In the future who knows what China may develop and share but we can all be confident that whatever they devlop in next decade or so will be light years ahead of what DODO will come up with or whatever the French manage to successfully rip you off in convincing to to "Make in India"

In the meantime yeah, by all means, come up with an indigenous air conditioning system for the SU-30 or whatever....

Honestly no wonder the IAF is in the state it is in. Clown show.

Pakistan holds the status of a major non-NATO ally of the US. Meanwhile, China tends to be cautious and selective in sharing its most advanced military technology, often reserving top-of-the-line equipment from being provided to Pakistani military leaders due to trust issues.

Yeah, some kit they will not sell to anyone, but Pakistan is firt in line for it's best available stuff it is willing to export and some things it is not willing to export to others. anything that helps Pakistan is a major win win for both China and Pak.

Everyone with even an ounce of knowledge of Geopolitics (this may well exclude you tragically), knows that US tild it in favour of India now and Mil to Mil relationship with Pak is minimal, but yeah, carry on convincing yourself whit is black and black is white.

JF-17 production has stopped since 2022. They haven't had new jets produced; 170 is the number going on since 2020. The last news of the JF-17, apart from crashes and taking part in airshows, etc., was in 2023 for its induction (Block 3). Pakistan ordered the J-10C and is waiting for the FC-31. Only 12 Block-3s have been made so far. Azerbaijan has not ordered those 24 jets. The initial order was of 30 by PAF. Not even a single Block 2A or Block 2B has been made after 2022. I doubt they can make 24 jets per year. Pakistan hailed the JF-17 as a permanent solution but ordered the J-10. The last JF-17 Block 2A delivered was in 2019, and Block 2B in 2020. 12 JF-17 Block 3s were produced from 2022 to early 2023, indicating a production gap. JF-17 Block 1 has limited capabilities in all domains; Block 2B is mostly a trainer, so 100 proper fighter aircraft are in service. Pakistan has 20 J-10Cs and 75 F-16s; all Mirages are from the 1960s and 1970s. Pakistan has not more than 200 proper fighter jets in service. Out of 75 F-16s, only 57 are BVR capable, while JF-17s are not truly multirole aircraft. Only 30-40 Mirage 3 and 5s can carry standoff munitions but will require heavy escort like they did in 2019 with two squadrons worth of escort for a single target that they missed. The PAF is still a sitting duck. EW aircraft in Pakistan are used as VIP transport for the Pakistani air chief. Block 2 and older F-16s would be at the mercy of jammers.

Pakistan is not worthy enough to call itself a rival of India. With its economy in the doldrums and foreign exchange reserves of only about $7 billion, Pakistan will not be able to hold its defensive front against the Indian military if a full-blown war breaks out today. We saw how you ran off the battlefield in 2019 when push came to shove, and your generals know it well. But arrogant Pakistanis like you live in a fantasy world, which is not only funny but also badly exposes your weaknesses.
