Indian Navy rescues 23 Pakistani nationals from Somali pirates after a 12-hour-long operation in the Arabian Sea in which the pirates on board were forced to surrender. Indian Navy warship INS Sumedha intercepted FV Al-Kambar during the early hours of 29 Mar 24 & was joined subsequently by the guided missile frigate INS Trishul. Indian Naval specialist teams are presently undertaking thorough sanitisation and seaworthiness checks of the FV in order to escort her to a safe area for resuming normal fishing activities: Indian Navy

Indian navy ships were probably the closest when the incident took place so they rescued Pakistani nationals.
I’m pretty sure if it was the opposite and Indian nationals needed rescue, Pakistani navy would rescue.
