China can used Russian technology against india, because mostly are the clone once... And Pakistan used against india... I am not surprised

India and China both primarily use Soviet/Russian linked weapons it's either highly modified or a variant of the same.
India's American arsenal is substantial though. It's mainly Howitzers, Reconnaissance aircraft and other non strategic weapons though. Nothing on the lines of Brahmos.

Makes sense from Indian point of view for next agression against Pakistan. Ground based launchers can be hunted down, however, these ships can disappear in the vast ocean expanse, after performing a strike.

i find it amazing, the US had downgraded Indian p8's for export. Yet they still wanted to buy them this bad?
radar has been seriously turned down, they have to use a cots acoustic processor, the esm suite is a commercial one etc

I think it was because when India last(2016) bought the P-8I, it had not yet signed the CISMOA/COMCASA agreement with the USA.

Looking at now $750 million per plane. I really hope they go for it. Be interesting to see how much PN is getting it's Sea Sultans for....

Indian Navy likes the P-8i platform and uses it extensively. They were planning to order 15 more, which would have taken the total no. of P-8is to 27. But because we are also buying MQ-9B drones from the USA, the no. of additional P-8is required has been reduced to 6.
