Even if your claim is true, what did it achieve in the end? Pakistan won the narrative by shooting down much hyped Indian Rafale fighters. The J-10C and PL-15 got marvellous coverage. Not only that, Modi is now very careful not to immediately blame Pakistan after false flag attacks in Hindustan.
Most importantly, India's end goal is to disintegrate Pakistan and take over various territories. Today, India looks in absolutely no position to achieve any of these stated goals. Even with the help of Israel.
The question is, what has India achieved all these years by going hostile against Pakistan?

The exercises have ended. So much hype and fantasy. In the end it amounted to absolutely nothing.
Primary: get their forces back in shape. They have been laying down with their bums up for a long time now.
Secondary: build diplomatic pressure on Pakistan via military posturing. If you recall or read about 2002 and 2008 escalation you'll understand how they often do this and then simmer down after our posturing in response. In all cases, it is suffice to say, their itch for a military action is always there but then we have always relieved that itch post 2000.
Very much so. Helps with the optics. The looming fear of a war helps Modi win votes considering he's the only Indian premier who has taken a step forward after standoff, so naturally Indians see him as the better option compared to others who they find weak in that regard.

In reality India was under a threat of 2 front war but right now it's Pakistan which is facing multiple fronts.
Post Ops Sindoor IWT is still in "Abeyance". Diversions are on their way & India simply refuses to entertain any third party.

We will deal with the Taliban. The talks will collapse and the Taliban/India/TTP nexus will resort to terrorism inside Pakistan. Pakistan will have to react and everyone will see. Afghanistan will be contained through brute force and other measures.
India knows that if it pokes Pakistan it will get a very firm response. We know why Modi has suddenly toned down. He knows that Pakistan will respond decisively.
Sindoor 2.0 is just talk. After Sindoor 1.0 flopped, India got humiliated badly on the world stage. The onus is on India to start a conflict with Pakistan.
If India builds dams to steal Pakistan's share of water, Pakistan will destroy the infrastructure. Let there be no doubt about that.
India hasn't achieved any of its stated objectives against Pakistan.

For 20 years, India did everything to move Pakistan away from US and west, now,
- American general is calling pakistan a phenomenal partner against terrorism
- We are no more in FATF
- West is talking business with Pakistan
- Other than Israel and Afghanistan, no country stood up with you on 7th May
- Russia continues to engage Pakistan the way Pakistan wants despite you being their strategic partner
I am not sure what you have achieved in long term now.
