Russia is part of P5s of UN, with Veto, and Delhi-Moscow-Tehran share this together, with other means of Moscow having since SU's time, since Cold war :)

They're not really complaining, the Kashmiris. There is no big "outsider" land grab, the security situation has improved drastically. Those involved with the tourism industry (local Kasmmiris) have been smiling ear to ear these past few years as occupancy has been mostly full and tourist footfalls have only continued to increase since. There has also been an infra boom, better airport, more rail connectivity, major and constant improvements in road connectivity, boat busses/water metro ? something too.

Things are looking good for Indian administered Kashmir. Revoking 370 was the best thing to happen to them.

Just talk to some common everyday Kashmiri people, everyone from the creamy layer rich business families to the aam aadmi, the man on the street, the traveling merchant, the houseboat and hotel worker.
