Indian Politics and Internal News

Sure. Size is one metric. Prestige is another McK>BCG>Bain>followed by others. But the way I judge consulting firms is: billing rate e.g., MBB is ~$1M/team month, while others are around 600ish (and staff larger teams vs. MBB). 2nd is who's your sponsor - again due to high billing rates and value, only CXOs have the budget to write checks while VPs (more like function heads) can get PwC, EY etc.

I had a straight-forward path. Undergrad from a top 10-20 school in India -> Worked for a few years ->MBA from top 10 USA ->McK. So pretty well versed with how firms position for recruiting etc. Had multiple offers from consulting firms when I was taking a call. FWIW, PwC invited to interview when I didn't even apply. Not to ding them or anything but such is the reality

This is online so I don't need to look like a champ, for all I know, I may be speaking with Ajit Doval :ROFLMAO:. But for all it matters, I'm a very prestigious grad. Started my career in MC at a level that people get to after 20 years of kicking dust. But anyway, its been fun talking to you.

Sure man... best of luck

I usually rewatch Blackadder, Yes Minister, and the like for entertainment but hey, each to their own! 😄

I watch "Mind your Language " The British depiction of the Indian-Pakistani rivalry is hilarious

I do too, Mind Your Language is a classic. I've rewatched it quite a few times. My other favourites are Allo Allo (though my French friends didn’t find it quite as funny), Fawlty Towers, The Kumars at 42. Timeless stuff.

... also the Thin Blue Line.. with "Constable Habib" . Rowen Atkinson at his best. On my visits to the UK I like to walk the streets looking for a Constable Habib. Alas she is a work of fiction.

Haven’t watched The Thin Blue Line yet, will definitely check it out! I’m a big fan of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, and I’ve always enjoyed Rowan Atkinson more in his older shows like Blackadder. The newer ones never quite had the same spark for me
