The Supreme Court on Monday upheld the 2019 Presidential Order scrapping the special status granted by way of Article 370 of the Constitution to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

A five-judge Constitution Bench presided by Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud said, “The exercise of power by the President under Article 370(1)(d) to issue CO 272 is not mala fide. The President in exercise of power under Article 370(3) can unilaterally issue a notification that Article 370 ceases to exist”.

“The President did not have to secure the concurrence of the Government of the State or Union Government acting on behalf of the State Government under the second proviso to Article 370(1)(d) while applying all the provisions of the Constitution to Jammu and Kashmir because such an exercise of power has the same effect as an exercise of power under Article 370(3) for which the concurrence or collaboration with the State Government was not required,” added the bench.

Mahraja Hari Singh wanted Kashmir to bee like switzerland from day one but Jinnah was in hurry hence send afridi raiders despite sand still agreement which led Mahraja to sign accession treaty with India just like othere princley states did later Nehru who wanted his friend Shiekh abdullah's and its nehru Gandhi famlies dominence in kashmiri politics went for article 370 despite reservations by both dogras and kashmiri pandits and gurjars alike and majority of indian legislatures and history prooved it but after 5th august 2019 all that changed but congress tried yet its last card and failed yet again .... but most funny part was paistanies making hue and cry to rstore an article of indian constitution which they think was invalid since day one as they belived kashmir state as a whole was theirs

They're not really complaining, the Kashmiris. There is no big "outsider" land grab, the security situation has improved drastically. Those involved with the tourism industry (local Kasmmiris) have been smiling ear to ear these past few years as occupancy has been mostly full and tourist footfalls have only continued to increase since. There has also been an infra boom, better airport, more rail connectivity, major and constant improvements in road connectivity, boat busses/water metro ? something too.

Things are looking good for Indian administered Kashmir. Revoking 370 was the best thing to happen to them.

Just talk to some common everyday Kashmiri people, everyone from the creamy layer rich business families to the aam aadmi, the man on the street, the traveling merchant, the houseboat and hotel worker.

Four Indian soldiers were killed in action and three were injured during a gunfight with Kashmiri militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district today, Indian army said.

The encounter started after militants ambushed two army vehicles passing through Dera Ki Gali in Rajouri's Poonch region, at 3.45 pm (IST) today.

The army, however, had been conducting an operation in and around Dera Ki Gali, also known as DKG area, since Wednesday night.

The encounter is going on.

"Based on hard intelligence, a joint operation was launched in the general area of DKG last night. Contact has been established this evening, and an encounter is in progress," a defence spokesperson said.

I don't know what is it's relevancy with GAZA, but my sixth sense says there is some relevancy. That's why Germany is actively supporting Israel and Saudia is silent over Gaza.
But if it is energy corridor, then sooner or later Greece would try to jump in. In that case, Turkey might face difficulties over oil extraction from Mediterranean. And if this project becomes a success, then what about BRI? Is China still in interested in it?

I mean a lot of ifs and buts.

there are already a trade corridoor thats working despite the proposed one thriugh saudi arabia and haifa of which pakistanies seem to bee tooo obsessed

besides that already we have made a dedicated trade and frieght corridoar that connects all main metros and adjoining special economic zones to nearest ports to minimze time of sending finished product to export which is called

Industrial Corridors and Dedicated Freight Corridors in India

and if you think we are foolish enogh or for that matter sudies havent calculated such sabotages by turks and iranians backed militant organization then you are living in a fools paradise and owr trade dose not depend only on that .... in CAPITAL LETTERS ITS PROPOSED
