India's trade deficit with China crosses USD 100 bn in first 9-months

I’ve only been to Pakistan once, and I saw many things I couldn’t understand. Please explain them to me: Pakistan has an excellent geographic location and should logically have developed a large-scale refining industry oriented toward the Gulf, but in reality the oil Pakistan imports is expensive, distant American oil. Likewise, Pakistan’s labor is far cheaper than China’s, hardworking, and tolerant of harsh conditions, and China, as a friend, is willing to support your manufacturing. So why has Pakistan’s manufacturing never been able to take off? In the China+1 wave of the past 10 years, the manufacturing Pakistan received was not even one percent of what India got—the timing was completely missed!
Poor work ethics , very corrupt and inefficient bureaucracy....on top of that archaic laws that are unfriendly towards businesses.

If Pakistan can convince the Chinese to bring in capital, workforce, machinery, materials, logistics, political stability, work ethic and more. all combined. Now globally there are only 4 countries that can come close to China manufacturing: Vietnam, Mexico, the US, India.
Other countries can do as well, but thing gets complicated If we are talking from making cheap daily goods to high tech manufacturing.

My dear cousin, there is one of the simplest and most basic things that is the hardest in Pakistan: political stability. As an outsider, I don't really want to criticize Pakistan's turbulent domestic politics, but look at what's happening right now—it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it the brink of civil war. Given the current reality, everything you've said is empty talk.

There's a joke in Pakistan ! Give Pakistan on contract to china for 20 years.

I have no issues with this we should import more machineries from China, it's subsidised and we should really use it to our advantage. My company imported cell balancers and EIS from China, they work just fine. Now we could have imported TI battery monitor EIS it would cost around ₹1000 the Chinese ones cost 750 > and ₹680 in bulk.

Are you smoking something high ?

Vietnam accounts for approximately 0.72% of global manufacturing output. Mexico accounts for approximately 1.7% to 2.2% of global manufacturing output. India accounts for approximately 3% to 3.2% of global manufacturing output. The United States accounts for approximately 17% to 17.3% of global manufacturing output. And China accounts for approximately 30% of global manufacturing output.

It is the cheapass indian vendors who buy the cheapest goods from china and sell to india.

Westerners actually do not go for the cheapest products so obviously they get much better quality

India gets lower quality goods because their vendors go and buy the absolute cheapest goods to sell to their people
Those poor clowns expect to buy the highest grade Chinese products with few Rupees, lol.

I would not trust too much in those old stats. I said close, not equal. Unrealistic to be equal. Reality is I mean all 4 combined we would come close. Vietnam official exports in goods is $60 billion a month in September, or $720 billion a year when accumulated.
And I mean capable producing things from cheap to expensive.

If you look on trade data, there is an issue though

Still dreaming creating a new supply chain of India, Mexico and Vietnam together with US to replace Chinese supply chain eh. Without Chinese tech and factories relocation to those countries, its only a pipe dream put up first by the Yanks.
