KF21 block 2 (delivery will be a bit longer waiting for development completion for block 2, so the order is also supporting block 2 development). Expected first delivery is in 2029 and the 2.2 billion USD order is likely just the first bacth

DS Investment assesses that the KF-21 contract to Indonesia will become the main catalyst for KAI, with a value of around KRW 3 trillion (±US$2.2 billion). BNK Investment states that negotiations have been completed and now it's just a matter of waiting for the administrative process before the official announcement.

Su27 planes are part of Indonesian earlier Sukhoi planes comprised of Su27 and Su30 MK2 and ordered during US embargo.

Recent report shows that some Su27 under heavy MRO in Belarus is now already in Makassar base, South Sulawesi. Makassar base is home of all Indonesian Su27/30 fighters

PS : Next Year France Dassault wil deliver 18 planes, so in the end of 2027 there will be already 24 Rafale F4 inshaAllah. Delivery will be conducted gradually until 2029 (complete 42 planes)

The contract is not one, but three contracts as the acquisition is done gradually, first contract is for 6 planes, second contract is for 18 planes, and the rest is the third contract, not one go contract.

It is pretty much understandable for Indonesia that still try to get its state budget manageable under 3 percent GDP deficit. Expect the same for potential KF21 acquisition.
