India has fast-tracked a ₹2,352 crore Chenab–Beas Link Tunnel Project in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul-Spiti district. The government set a July 2029 deadline to complete an 8.7-kilometer tunnel that diverts surplus water from the Chandra River (a Chenab tributary) into the Beas river basin to boost hydropower and irrigation. good. So an immediate stopping of sharing hydrological data, desilting of our dams and increasing storage capacity, changing the very nature how we consume the water are not concerning to Pakistan.
