Looks like it but we never thought trump actually had a chance in hell for a second term but you never know with threats of intimidation at polls and trying to rig districts in favor of republicans never say never but I’m going to be one of those lazy voters who goes out this year but yeah independents make the difference in elections Florida and man Cubans are pissed now that they aren’t safe from deportation they used to look down on people from Central America and South America because of how the law favored them now they’re in the same boat as them and can be deported just as easily regardless how many years they have been here

BREAKING: Russian officials have briefed Iran that the CIA Director Ratcliffe's Moscow visit delivered a message with the US asking Moscow to press Iran into reopening the Strait of Hormuz, warning that Russian entities would otherwise face designations under Operation Economic Outcast. Russia declined, and told Iran the threatened measures were of limited consequence, according to two senior Iranian sources with knowledge of the briefing.

The message also warned that Russian banks, traders and shipping entities tied to Iranian oil, gold and aviation will be sanctioned under the operation unless Moscow moves to close those channels.

Also $100B on the militiary even in PPP terms is also absurd since Iran purchases a lot of its raw materials and missile industrial equipment and components from China and to a lesser extent Russia and some of its weapon systems (like Shaheed) use western off the shelf parts which all require hard currency not worthless rial.

Simply looking at the lack of proper domestic air defense systems, radars, manpads, proper anti naval weapon systems, and how fast they ran thru their supply of missiles and drones paints a clear picture that your $100B PPP calculation is an on paper and not in reality calculation.

If Iran truly was spending “$100B parity equivalent” on the military they wouldn’t have been firing 10-12 missiles a day at Israel and their stockpile these years would have been north of 10,000 missiles.

e) 700.000 tonnes of aluminum
f) 20mln home appliance units

h) 1,3 million cars
i) 44bln liters of gasoline
j) 80mln tonnes of petrochemical products
k) 95% of required medicines and drugs
Certainly has around 2trln$ PPP economy.

This is not my estimate - this is an estimate by the IMF for 2025 and even IMF doesn't include shadow economy which adds another 35% to GDP to make it 2,5trln$ PPP.

Also all nations of the world import some raw materials and spare parts from abroad for their military industry. But Iran's defense industry is mostly self-sufficient due to sanctions and most of raw material and components are produced at home. Sure, there is some imports of chips and chemicals but this is a small part of the cost of the weapon system.

100bln Military PPP dollar spending is a decent estimate for the Iranian military.

For comparison Germany spent on defense 114bln$ just to have a shitty military with 179.000 troops, 200 tanks and 200 fighter aircrafts.

For Iran 100bnln PPP dollars is decent for having a military with 610.000 troops, 1700 obsolete tanks, 300 obsolete fighters, 7500 medium and short range ballistic missiles and 15.000 drones.

Even US with its 900bln$ budget only had around 3000 Tomohawks and 4000 JASSMS prior to this war.

Now, here is the question to everyone: If tankers full of oil are getting through the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz like Trump and others claim, even some in this forum, then why is the Trump administration requesting other countries, especially China and Russia, to put pressure on Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz?

Why is there a need for "Operation Economic Outcast" if the US military controls the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz and oil is getting thru?

Russia is already heavily sanctioned. These American shitheads are clueless, they forgot when Billiary Clinton went to China just to do the same things that Trump is trying to do today. Trump begged Xi Jinping not to sell Iran the required weapons. Xi briefed the retard that China has not done such trade with Iran for decades. Even the oil purchase from Iran is very limited.

China and Russia in the past had many things to lose so they had to consider Billiary Clinton's warnings in their final calculations.

I recently looked at the initial data, and it's quite interesting that the trade volume between Turkey and Iran hasn't decreased. Typically, war has an immediate effect on trade, causing a slowdown in the flow of physical goods.

US will try enforce Pakistan and Turkey to seal borders. Pak and Turkey cash trade much bigger then recorded one.
