I don't understand. Trump has consistently been told there are no viable military options against Iran and that stockpiles of missiles and interceptors are critically low. Trump and Hegseth are both mentally ill.

It seems for a period of time Iran has been firing mines into the SoH and today the U.S. has had enough.

Explains why Trump randomly tweeted about mines last week.

The response will tell us if IRGC wants to fight or not.

They have been looking for an excuse to strike US assets and restart the hot war and Trump just gave it to them tonight. How fast the response came (a few hours) means Iran already had a strike package ready for firing without confirming with higher ups.

However, we shall see if this is one and done to your point or that Iran wants to resort to hot war to get oil prices back up.

IRGC wants to fight, but that's not the problem here. The entire rotten structure is compromised and does not want to escalate, including our crippled and mentally handicapped Supreme Leader. These fireworks are for show and only give the illusion of a strong response but keep your expectations low on this one or any other moving forward.
