In case you missed it, I too am a mod. And, I assure you, if I got too out of line in this section, @Persian Gulf and I would have a side bar and resolve the concerns just as we would in the US Perspectives thread.

As for the President's approval, I am a member of a chat group made up mostly of retired cops. No, I was not a cop. Invitation by another friend who was also a vet. Right now, the President's popularity is not looking good among the retiree community. Which, I have pointed out here as well as a couple of the US threads.
