Missiles can do plenty of damage and if Iran went after the tankers/awacs on the ground and the air then it would have been a different story.However, when The will isn’t there to launch many missiles or escalate the war then it won’t happen. If Iran can fire 25 missiles at one Jordan airbase, it could have fired 50 at an Israeli one. No one forced Iran to stop the war just as Israeli air defense supply got depleted. Iran decided too.

we tried that twice in perfect scenarios (all the time in the world to set up launchers etc with empty skies). Operations True Promise I and II. both were epic failures.

Yeah thats true i doubt the people want to live that type of lifestyle and don't know how much support IRGC can get if they do go underground and resort to assymetrical guerilla warfare.
