Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Reports of a deal to restart negotiations were that Iran could allow an IAEA visit to a nuke facility, maybe even a secret visit, and in return, Iran will get the interest earned on some $6 billion sitting in deposits at Qatari banks. Maybe Iran said yes on the Munir visit and hence, a Qatari plane flew with the money to Tehran.

If Iran allows another IAEA visit - they’ll deserve the carnage that’ll follow.

IAEA is a Trojan horse.

BREAKING: The U.S. is now preparing to completely abandon Gulf countries, as Trump envoy Tom Barrack directly warns Gulf allies that Washington can no longer guarantee their security indefinitely, telling regional officials in Doha that they must take responsibility for their own defense, signalling the end of the U.S. security umbrella in the Middle East, per the Wall Street Journal.

Barrack said the 80-year-old U.S. security-for-oil arrangement is no longer sustainable, pointing to regional defense partnerships as the way forward. The warning comes as Gulf states face Iranian strikes on U.S. military infrastructure and growing uncertainty over Washington’s future military commitment to the region.

All roads to China.

There are lots of issues with your calculation.

Iran hasn't been able to shut the Strait of Hormuz yet. The US considers the Strait of Hormuz open, which is why it is no longer willing to give Iran any sort of concession over reopening it and our negotiators are discussing a potential deal over our nuclear program with the US, per both Qatari and Pakistani sources.

How do you want to realize even that $15 billion, assuming it is only from oil? Even that hasn't been realized yet.
The original discussion was in relation to these countries paying the fee, as for all we know they actually are paying this under the table.

And I was arguing if they all are, along with the small oil transfer but at high prices, this would be roughly similar to pre-war income.

It wouldn't show in the currency devaluation since people don't know about it and hence don't have confidence in the currency.

Likewise the money could be trapped in Chinese yuan, crypto, not paid yet or owed via barter trade. And again if this is the case, government can't use it to stabilise the currency.

Of course we don't know, maybe hardly any of them are actually paying it.

Time will tell.

Not drying up but 30 years from now a lot less is going to be out there there’s a reason a country like Saudi Arabia is now at mad dash to reshape it’s economy after years of just focusing on oil they’re behind a country like uae when they should have been ahead of it

Two countries at the extreme end of the spectrum.

One birthed a backward cult called Wahabism. And tried to export it to countries ahead of them in the evolution ladder!!!

Other modelled itself on Vagas. Yikes!!!

Neither resembles Islam at the height of its power.

As a Bangladeshi I see no commonality with Islam under the Mughal Empire and Wahabism.

I am sure the Turkic people will say the same about Islam under the Ottoman Sultans and Wahabi cult

Surely interest is haram surely? Even in the land of Iran?

Beat you too it I thought it was funny how he’s complaining about Iran hitting commercial ships but he conveniently leaves out American forces are doing the same thing and have killed Indian sailors themselves and just shrugged their shoulders over the death of those Indians

Don’t forget Venezuelan ships as well.

Ditto the embargo against Cuba.

The ding-a-lings don’t like it up em!
