At least 9 interceptors fired to intercept 3 missiles and only 1 successful interception in this clip.

So Israel is firing somtimes 3 interceptors per Iranian missile.

That is not sustainable. That means if iran fires 100 missiles Israel will spend up to 300 interceptors! Israel doesn’t have more than 1500 IMO

Iran's involvement in defending Bashar was the biggest mistake. Iran could have much better relationship with neighbouring countries and even with the new government of Syria but having said that, Assad was a coward and it would've made no difference if he was in power.

Agree, Israel neutralized the Syrian air force over Lebanon in 1980s and was never challenged by Syria since then. Iraqi air force was effectively crushed in 1991 war. This corridor to strike Iran has been open since the 1990s, maybe folks just could not see it.
