Well Russia sure turned out to be a dependable ally right?
Iran gave drones, other equipment etc, much of it they could not afford to, and Russia sat back watching Israel take it apart with US help.

It is worse than that, I am convinced that the Russians conspired with the Israelis and Trump to not deliver the Su35s, so that Iran had no defence against the upcoming attack and no chance of defending its airspace. There is no other logical reason for that timeline other than betrayal. The Russians sold out Iran, to concessions on Ukraine.

You are right. It's an integral part of Islam, but what we have is people mindlessly rushing to attain a status with no work and planning.

The generals rely on martyrdom with a twist, but have no strategy or tactics, relying on pump and dumb jazba.

A little story: During one of the battles in Islam's early history between Medina and Badr, one of the Prophet's companions wanted to show bravery while fighting and attain his status; his jazba was high, and he was willing to jump on the enemy's sword and attain his status.
