Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The efing MSM posting fake Trump is going to attack soon is tiresome. Logic dictates if he's going to do anything this stupid he's going to wait until the USS Nimtz is in position and she is 4-5 days away from that.

I am just saying it how it is - optics matter no? I really don't know what or how much influence the Field Marshal has re: Trump when it comes to Iran. I know there are those in the present admin who are both Pro and Anti Paksitan.

Well, he’s a military guy & hopefully he’ll tell him about the consequences of his decision if he decides to go ahead. Maybe an estimated casualty count of American losses.
Knowing trump, it’s probably a good idea to dangle the economic carrot too. Something he can brag about.

It's to try and apply pressure and scare the Iranian civilians as well, their main goal is regime change even if they don't explicitly say it

No, no I don't think this is a similar scenario - Pak has been heavily engaged in backdoor diplomacy to resolve this mess- this is one element of it.
What diplomacy ? I only think of 3 scenario's,
1) Iran's Leadership convey message to Pakistan to tell Americans that they are ready to talk with some face saving deal.
2) Pakistan on itself trying to diffuse the situation on its own, cause fall of Iran will have massive implications on Pakistan.
3) Pakistan is there to avoid a situation like " with us or against us ".

Sir,

Being realistic the Chinese will not intervene militarily unless it directly impacts their sovereignty or hard assets.
Precedence would say you are correct. And the risk calculus would agree with you, with China risking drawing the ire of the Israelis and all their “partners”.

On the other hand, the fall of the Iranian regime risks all Persian gulf nations being under the leadership of the US, and with China not wanting to be dependent on the Russians, the PLAN may want to secure its own SLOCs and Oil/gas supplies. A limited “peacekeeping mission” could see the current regime survive and de-nuclearized. Chinese involvement but not kinetically opposed to the Israelis or the US, unless those two countries push the issue.

israel is using Arrow 2 & 3 with the cheapest costing 1 mil$

That is all part of "diplomacy" using our "voices".... That is how diplomacy works - plus you deal with the cards you are dealt. To quote the Trump "Sometimes you don't got the cards"

Trump cancelled his announcement tonight.

He is meeting Field Marshal Asim Muneer tomorrow at 1PM ET.

The current CENTCOM commander is pro-Pakistan, but he is also pretty hot headed - recently got in trouble for roughing up an airman.

We have a hot-headed pro-Pakistani US administration, Inshallah Hafiz sb. can negotiate a settlement which minimizes zionist influence in Pakistan, and limits the damage in Iran to just the nuclear/military targets, not a total destruction of Iran's economy.

The current administration isn't pro-Pakistan; they are just tolerating it.

This was probably planned months before hand before the escalations and just coincidentally this was the timing, but yes I think he will try and see if there's any possibility for them returning to the negotiation table instead of joining in.
