Moving forward, it seems that Trump is backing off from joining directly, but may be giving Israel a limited number of bunker busters to try and do the job of destroying the underground nuclear facilities itself (which will likely only do very limited damage, because these underground bases massive in size and scale, and the bombs aren't likely to reach the depth require with only a few hits).

You are too quick to accept and project Israeli version and propaganda......Remeber they are master deceivers and propaganda masters....I will not take their claims as a proof but will judge situation as it is happening on hourly bases based on common sense proof.

So far few things are clear.....

Iran is conserving its energy and arsenal and is responding bare minimum to keep Israelis on their toes. Real threat will not be from Israel if Americans choose to attack but from their bases located very close to Iran, For that Iran will be wise to bite the bullet and not reveal their cards.

It is no joke to face the might of Western coalition and Iran needs to be prepared. They need to activate Shia militias in all countries they have an influence on and put them on notice to start attacking in case Iran gets attacked.....doing so with out getting attacked by the USA first will give the pretext to Western coalition to unleash. There is still apossibility America will not attack as the opposition from MAGA is growing and even some top senators are openly asking why are we going to attack. Just now a top Republican senator was on TV saying that we give Israel $4 B and all the help and they should fight the war.

There is no sign of regime collapse....Israelis are attacking civilian targets to cause civil break down such as police stations and civil intelligence headquarters. They see no one coming out and saying anything against the regime...Infact the regime is facing support from common Iranians who otherwise hated them.

Lastly the very fact that ISRAEL is literally begging USA to help them shows they have not only failed to achieve their objectives but feel stuck in the situation they need someone to rescue them.

They would be in much better position now if they let assad go but lot of paranoia and their own ambitions and unrealistic plans backfired.
Pretty sure that as pragmatic as they are new syrian government would be ambiguos and ready to cooperate with iranians if they stayed away from syria.

ISIS emerged from Iraq and invaded Syria from the east in the middle of the war, they wouldn't even have been a factor if the Iranians and Russians didn't step in to prop up the regime and save it when it was about to collapse at the beginning. If we weren't busy fighting the criminal regime and its allies in the west and south of the country, ISIS wouldn't have been able to invade us from the east. The first thing they did was attack the revolutionaries and they wouldn't have been able to become a thing in Syria if we weren't already busy fighting the regime everywhere else. They would've been confined to Iraq.

CNN, I believe, reported that there are talks to supply Israel with the kits required to get to the depth required to damage the underground facilities.

The issue here would be that the bombs required are only carried by strategic bombers, so no idea how Israel would manage such a thing, because they don't have a single strategic bomber in their fleet.
