TP1 and TP2 was a show basically, confirmed by IRGC officials in their statements. TP3 is supposed to be the mother of all things, it's going to wreck Israel. Is it coming? Seems like the rhetoric is getting more peaceful.

That is a fair comment to make.

I did speculate as to why Iran may wait a while.

It may want to replace that OTH radar that got damaged and also implement lessons learned like protect all OTH radars in Iran with "Pantsir-like" systems.

Iran should not wait too long as the retaliation does need to come before the end of the year as otherwise it starts losing credibility and deterrence again.

I have to add that if they going to retaliate then do it powerfully to restore deterrence. If it is going to be a show again then don't bother.

Yes it should be a "like for like" attack.

Entity did try something far more destructive than it achieved as Iranian IADS was very effective but there was some damage and deaths.

Iran should aim to take out 1-2 radar installations(large ABM radar) and at least a single military factory.

As the entity has so few assets of this nature, it may shock them into stopping as Iran could then demonstrate it will destroy the entity's assets way before the entity could do the same back.

If I were Iran, I believe it would be time for our own crazy strategy. Cause as much destruction as possible AND send a msg to the US. At the end, Iran must demonstrate it can and will jump a few notches to escalate. Short of war.

Problem is the "balance" needs to be struck.

Destroying a single ABM radar and a military factory would be "proportionate" and "disproportionate" at the same time. That would really hurt and devastate the entity as it would be massive loss for them - not so if it was the reverse for Iran.

It would signal to the Zio-US that Iran not only has the will to destroy those precious few vital assets the entity has, but it can easily wipe everything out within 48 hours by firing salvos of 200 missiles every 3-4 hours

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels like things have gone quiet on the Iranian side when it comes to retaliating against Israel.

The thing is with Iran when they say they are going to hit back they hit back. TP-1 and TP part deux Iran was telling us what they were gonna do and they did it. Part 2 may have taken a bit of time but they did it backing up their bluster. They told us part 3 was going to be much bigger and I came around figuring that this time they won't be as blustery as TP-1 and TP part deux.

Now I'm expecting TP part 3 to take time if it is going to be as big as Iran claims that means this is going to be a very complicated simultaneous attack and defense. Some folks think it's as simple as driving out the launchers into position, upload the GPS coordinates and fire but reality is complicated especially when coordinating hundreds of launchers. Iran is very likely going to use cruise and drones like TP-1 but much much more of them. Like TP part deux we'll know hours before they attack because US ISR/ELINT/SIGINT will tweet it that Iran has started moving launchers and stuff. Question will be will Israel have the matzo-balls to hit the launchers in a pre-empt attack.
