It's not a well researched fatwa. If nuclear weapons are haram due to the destruction they cause then should be ballistic missiles which can kill innocents. In Islam killing one person is evil, same as killing 1000s. Muslim nations must build nukes for DEFENSIVE purposes, so that noone can bomb them, kill the innocents, bomb nuclear facilities, weapons shouldn't be built to kill innocents, that is when it is haram. Their plan will be to curtail Iranian influence in the region in the Shia crescent as they call it - curb Chinese influence in the ME (keep in mind Iran was an integral part of the Chinese B&R project), deny China access to cheap oil - they had already sanctioned a Chinese Cargo ship for transporting Iranian oil on the 20th of June 2025.

It will be interesting to see what US will want in exchange of "PEACE"?

- Will they want Iran to surrender or limit their BM program (range, numbers etc)
- Will they want Iran to roll back their (Iranian) enrichment capabilities back to 3.5% (who will monitor this? IAEA?)
- What about the 60% enriched fuel? Will they ask Iran to surrender it? Will Iran Surrender it? Who will be the custodian? IAEA(logical choice), perhaps a nation friendly to the Americans and ME and Iranians (India?)
