There's no guarantee even if they reach and penetrate the hardened surfaces.

The way the facility is built at an angle, the explosion would almost certainly be contained to a small portion. The US would need to do dozens of these strikes to succeed in doing g any lasting damage, and they do not have a lot of these bombs in their inventory.

I think the biggest evidence we've seen is that there has been no indication of a collapse of the over land, or tremors resulting from this strike.

It almost certainly failed to achieve it's goals.

Ferguson is not entirely wrong. If China takes Taiwan, that will be the beginning of the end of US control of the western pacific.

Taiwan is a China's core interest of Chinese core interests, a Chinese territory both legally and historically. And US ? Taiwan is not US land, not even US's vital interest. If you look that way, any back off of US interests in East Asia or the world means the beginning of the end of US domination. US doesn't own the world as Americans like to think.

Not really. China has no defence treaty with Iran.
Also Iran and China relationship had cooled recently for some reason, so no one expected China to jump in.



Russia claims to be a superpower. It should be able to help an ally who helped it in Ukraine. It sends a very bad message when you can't repay favors.



There are no restrictions against selling oil to China. Any country on the planet will sell oil/gas to China.

Iran is not North Korea, Pakistan, or Vietnam. . . It is not China’s core geo-security interest. And there are no paramilitary alliance obligations.

In fact, Iran's relationship with India is better than Iran's relationship with China. You know Iran gave Chabahar port to India. Why does no one suggest that India should help Iran?

Well, it's one thing to not support Trump on Iran Policy, it's another thing to remove him and get JD Vance in, that would completely end the brand MAGA and GOP for the next decade if they turn on Trump. Dem remove him, that's okay, but if it was the GOP effort, that will piss off most voting base, the chance of GOP to get both house next year in Mid-Term is as low as it can be, why make it lower?
