WASHINGTON, June 22 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday called on China to encourage Iran to not shut down the Strait of Hormuz after Washington carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.
Rubio's comments on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo" show came after Iran's Press TV reported that the Iranian parliament approved a measure to close the Strait of Hormuz, through which around 20% of global oil and gas flows.

Those places that we bombed? For the next three yrs, all we have to do is occasionally launch a couple of cruise missiles at them and that will be enough to keep Iran from doing any kind of recovery. YOU may think three yrs is short, but in the real world, the longer something, a car or a building, sits idle, the more difficult it is to revive them. Essentially, those sites are now useless for Iran for at least three yrs, Trump's current presidential term. Then Iran will have to contend with the possibility that the US will have either Vance or Rubio as next president.

Can Iran scout for another underground uranium enrichment site? Of course, but that will take yrs as well, and probably into either a Vance or Rubio presidency. That is just for scout, not yet development and building, and that is more yrs and money.
