Telegraph -
Iran has highly fortified nuclear sites, including a mountain complex near Natanz at a depth of 160 m:
It is twice as fortified as Fordo, which was targeted by 12 GBU-57 bombs without decisive results
Known as "Mountain of Strength", it is an ideal location for hiding highly enriched uranium, as its tunnels can withstand even a nuclear explosion
Iran also has a deep facility near Isfahan that Washington failed to destroy
These claims could be false stories designed to get the Trump administration to start bombing Iran. Zios is definitely up to something with these stories they're planting in their propaganda outlets.
I saw an interview with one of the CIA analysts fired from Pentagon for speaking out against Israel.
He talked about Pickaxe mountain. It is inconclusive if they fully destroyed the site during Operation Midnight Hammer. Or perhaps they did, and it is gone already.
As far as publically known, the new Natanz site never fully became operational.
It could be false. Iran might have moved HEU and infrastructure to Pickaxe. Who knows.
What Operation Midnight Hammer Means for the Future of Iran’s Nuclear Ambitions
Operation Midnight Hammer struck Iran's key nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan using B-2s and Tomahawk cruise missiles. This effort aimed to destroy Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities, but its success is still to be determined.
At least as it pertains to Fordo, satellite imagery suggests they tried to harden the defences, rather than move the material out of it. Iranian officials figured, they spent all this money and energy to build such a deep site, it would be a total waste if they move it and it gets intercepted above ground. They might have very well decided to hunker down and keep everything inside.
There is a chance that they started digging alternative tunnels with an emergency escape route, and moved the material there, like another secret room. Their window to do this was short though, and they would have to keep things on the very down low, in order to hide any digging from satellite imagery.
Israel cannot get it. America can. The Israelis are only focused on targeting officials, scientists, ballistic missile manufacturing, air defences, and launch sites. Expect the Americans to participate in round 2, and more boldly. They may target Iranian military positions, knowing the regime is not going to fight back. This is why I am concerned some people's claim of victory here, is short lived.
