Iran should just destroy that base in its entirety. What is left of the Iranian air force could do it. Iran should just take that base off the map, be proactive about it rather than just sitting there like a punching bag and taking it all the time...

I'm not there yet.... I haven't seen one outside interference of United States that's worked out. No European for that matter.
Change must come from within if it's going to stick and hold. The biggest favor this government can do for Iranians is let reforms happen.... We have to strive towards a better, more efficient, more capable government.

Shapur is correct to point out that the longer the IR stays in power the weaker Iran becomes. And you are also correct in saying that any real change has to come from within Iran itself.

In my opinion the reason we ended up with the IR is because we failed to learn from history, we failed to appreciate an honest leader and we let ourselves fall into the trap of propaganda and empty slogans.

As long as the Iranian people themselves dont realize how badly they have been scammed and start to rise up... nothing will change. Even a foreign installed regime would collapse eventually because without true grassroots support it cant survive.

Yes, for us Iranians today it is frustrating because our lives are not long enough to always witness the historical shifts we talk about like regime changes. But one thing is certain: the more educated people become the better off the nation will be in the future.

I emphasize what I said earlier: change has to come from within. People have to start protesting, get active in politics, build underground movements create printing presses, spread ideas. Until people are ready to do that the IR will stay. That simply means we are not ready yet.... a sad truth.

That makes zero strategic sense. Qatar, Bahrain ,and UAE bases are 100 km away. IR has zero desire to get engaged in a war with the US.

Either they keep or kick out the IAEA, IRI itself has not shown even the slightest intention of moving towards nuclear weapons. Had it been the case, they would not have allowed the program to be politicized internationally 20 years ago (threatening Global Jew lords openly for no reason at all). Illiterate and coward IRI leadership never tied Iranian national security with strategic deterrence that global economic ties + strong conventional and unconventional military capabilities provide. They could have stayed silent on Israel since Iran has no business in Levant. They could have Mended ties with west just post-Khatami era while secretly working on ICBMs, SSBNs, IRIAF, Nukes, Sats while playing role of a responsible rational powerhouse of the region. I can give examples of which countries kept this model of playing nice globally while sharpening their swords in secret. Illiterate Mullahs instead opened their mouths against US and Israel. Instead of building actual strategic capabilities they tied Iranian national security with funneling 500+ Billion USD on useless Arab Militias to tangle Iran up in irrelevant intra-semite wars, while making sure that resultant sanctions cripple Iran both economically and militarily.
To me these "news" of he said, she said at IAEA and dialogues with EU/US is useless as long as ball less leadership of IRI sits at power.
