Why would US negotiate with Iran?

Iran has no enrichment right now
Iran’s nuclear sites are completely devastated
Iran has no means of reaching US soil

Another point....in the back drop of the US not wanting to escalate things, especially since they're telling the world the Iranian nuclear project is on ice. Second, the walk out out of Netanyahu's UN speech is very telling about what the world thinks of Israel's current position in the world.
Third, the Gaza flotilla now has 2 warships in tow....this has never happened before, this a very strong message from Spain and Italy....I doubt it went unnoticed.
These things individually may not mean much, but together they form a picture that Israel is in no position to go for round 2 with Iran.
At least not in the near future, perhaps next year or even later.....they're monitoring Iran's activity at the nuclear sites....they're gathering evidence, or fabricating it to use it to convince Trump.....I doubt it will work, Trump has moved on.

Khamenei wont even say a word against these countries which pose actual threat to Iranian state.
