Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

It is funny how when I call out the blatant bias and an election for a neutral moderator ( in reality since it is an Iranian forum there should bias in favor of Iran) the post is deleted and not debated . Then I am back in the penalty box again.
Trust me, you won't like the result of such an election. First of all, I think the majority of us Iranians who are not on the extreme end of being pro-IR are quite happy with @Persian Gulf and his professional and unbiased approach to the Iranian defense forum and secondly, you guys do not believe in fair elections or a referendum. So, why would you want one this time?

People in Iran have been calling for a referendum for decades already.

You just want to stifle any voice against the IR. Thats not how a free forum works.

Do you actually want sane and free discussion here or just people praising Khameneis aftabeh 24-7?

They crossed every IR red line and got no push back, it wouldn't surprise me if IR didn't even bother fighting back against a ground invasion. Why would they stop punching when their opponent doesn't even bother trying to protect itself anymore?
That's exactly my thoughts.
Our air force was nowhere to be seen when Israel attacked us.
I'm afraid the same will happen to our navy and ground forces if the US launches a ground invasion. Maybe some loyal Basij or IRGC forces would fight back, but how many people will choose to fight for a lost cause when they see their leaders do not want to fight back at all?

The Ayatollahs have shown no spine in the last 3 months. They accepted every type of humiliation that the West threw at us and are still doing the same. This is very demoralizing.

As I said before, the "SNAPBACK" is illegal and merely symbolic to encourage more countries not to negotiate with Iran, but under international law they are not obliged to do so :

I Think the only thing that overthrowing the Islamic republic will due is to make sure that we once again become a vassal state of U.S imperial power, just like we were under Mohammad reza pahlavi.
Ok... fair enough.

So who should lead Iran? Because it seems to me things have been going downhill for years now.

Some of us here will say things have gone downhill for decades.

The current leadership just won't do.

What else do you think a person like me can do?
Do you expect me to get my hands on fissile material and develop a nuke in my apartment and send it to faithful soldiers in the Army or the IRGC?
Well, at least there are people in Iran that are echoing our concerns....we have proof of it, they're securing the border, they're buying advanced fighters and new SAMs. So, it's not all in vain. Let's see how things unpack before we throw in the towel...you're right they're not very smart people at the helm...most importantly they lack knowledge of the Western world and politics, they're trapped in a domestic propaganda bubble, but that's why we have to keep hounding them...so they can course correct.

He delivered on his last threats against Iran, didn't he?

He said he would give Iran 60 days to sign a deal or they would attack and they did exactly that on Day 62.

You could stay as low as you want, they've made up their minds. When he says that for the first time everyone is onboard, I'd rather take it seriously than to get surprised again.
Yes but last time they wanted to finish off the nuclear program and they did.

Now what possible reason do they have? Has Trump made any public statements regarding Iran so far? That would be the biggest indicator of all. You have to keep track of what he says about Iran.

It makes no sense for Trump to push for a ceasefire only to go back at it again a few months later.

Im not saying there wont be a new round and most likely there will be. But I dont see it happening so fast again because right now theres no casus belli.

I'm not sure. I have not seen even a single new jet fighter in Iran, or new SAMs. I am not sure if our S300s have been replaced even.
A country the size of Iran needs a lot more than just 4 S-300 batteries, particularly a country like Iran with no air force.

The fate of 440kg of 60% HEU is unknown. Our missile program is more or less intact, which is their new declared goal. They are trying to defang us step by step.

On top of that, they still see the regime of Iran as a potential threat to Israel. Trump seems very much in support of Israel dominating the Middle East. He's a White European fascist. What else do you expect of him?

The US does not need a casus belli. Did they have one last time? They launched a pre-emptive strike on Iran without any casus belli.

You dont need a full scale war for the buried HEU. The moment they detect movements that look like recovery of the HEU they will launch airstrikes.

The casus belli for the American strike wasnt just about nukes... it was the embassy takeover, the killing of hundreds of American soldiers and decades of anti US activity and hostile behavior.

The groundwork for US bombing didnt start because of the nuclear program. Its not black and white.

We Iranians tend to forget history fast.

The only point you made that could be seriously considered is the missile aspect. But Im not even sure they view that as a real threat. Out of 500–600 missiles...30 or 40 hit, destroyed some neighborhood blocks but other than that? Was any high value target destroyed? Anything that would actually make Israel shake in its boots?

Around 30 Israelis got killed. Not even a single on duty Israeli soldier.

Like I said I will stand corrected if a new round suddenly breaks out but as far as I can see there are no imminent signs. Once again there will be another round for sure... just not so soon. Perhaps next year.

Trump is known for making grand claims. Right now the IR isnt making any provocative moves that would push the West to consider such drastic actions.

If I were IR i would lay low and stay quiet as a mouse for the next three years.
I think that is exactly their plan

but they look so weak that it still might not stop Israel or the US

Why stop there when you can remove your long-time enemy from power? Iran has plenty of resources that the US can leech off.

They can use the same thing as casus belli, no?
I mean casus belli is for countries that are not permanent members of the UNSC. These countries can do whatever they want and there will be no legal framework to hold them accountable.

What do you think their end game is then? Do you think the West is going to live with the Islamic Republic in its current form as long as they do not pursue nuclear weapons and do not completely turn to China and Russia?

a few good targets were hit, Haifa refinery, Unit 8200 buildings, MoD HQ, Weizmann Institute, probably a good number of censored hits at air bases. and thousands of homes destroyed as you mentioned. but you're right, not a strong return for the number of missiles fired.

on the other hand, Israel successfully suppressed fire from all western SSM bases (at least 20 such bases were thoroughly hit, damaging almost all above ground buildings and temporarily disabling the entrances), so Iran was forced to fire older missiles from central bases.

perhaps the results would be better/different if Iran could have used its newer missiles in the major SSM bases in the West of the country.

the benefit of Israel blocking these bases so early in the war is that these missile stockpiles and TELs are still there under the mountains waiting to be accessed again.

Were these two hit? I think we missed.
the video with 4 impacts near the Mossad HQ included a direct hit on a Unit 8200 training building

the MoD HQ in Tel Aviv suffered at least light damage, that Trey Fox News guy did a video about it saying they were not allowed to show it but you can see some windows shattered (and recently there were reports of Israel performing renovations to the MoD building)

I can try to find the videos if you can't remember based on the above

If you looked at my posts , I am objectively critical of IR. Certain people post non-stop from paid Israeli shills and pretend that the statements are true .
There is obviously a huge anti-Iran bias here. There is no doubt this regime had gotten us involved in Israel-Arab conflict that has nothing to do with us .
There is no doubt they wasted tens of billions of dollars with their failed militias, although not a complete failure.

The corruption and mismanagement is clear as day but we do not outsiders to make change in Iran.
The fact of matter is that cabal of satan finally forced the U.S into a conflict with us and the results was one thousand dead Iranians most of whom were civilians.

For someone to constantly post BS delusional fantasies of that tiny little country is equivalent to spitting on the graves of the innocent women and children that were killed .

He should just post from Babak. At least he doesn’t hide that he is a paid shill .

Everyone here needs to understand the true objective of the enemy is fragmentation of Iran. Social media and forums are an important battle ground otherwise that war criminal would not be paying off influencers to write pro- child killer content .
