I don't think it's likely to happen this time in this situation because, to do this, an entire defense system would have to be deactivated, and that's not the case now; on the contrary, the opposite is happening—it's more defended than before.

Not even the internal terrorists could they use to disable systems (as they did in the 12-day war) because they are already involved in the attempted color revolution and many have already been killed and imprisoned...

NOTE: But If this were to happen at any point, it would be a total war, and American/zionists targets would be attacked in several countries, not only by Iran but also by allies; attacks would even come from Somalia and Sudan.
 
All of this stems from the mistake of the last time, when we shamefully agreed to a ceasefire after being caught off guard.
I warned that this would inevitably invite the next major invasion.
Having seen through the Iranian leadership's lack of courage to fight, Trump will next unleash a rain of bombs across all of Iran without hesitation.

Well that was big mistake. Nukes are nukes and enriched uranium is just that, enriched uranium.

Khamenai’s fatwa ironically might be the thing that leads to Islamic Republic collapsing under his watch. Morality has no place in the modern world, when your enemies show no morals and break all the rules of war.

That being said, picking a fight with America and Israel from the onset since 1979 was a dumb decision that has destroyed the growth of this country for decades. A China like approach would have been much more pragmatic

Makes sense to me. Trump is not into extended military engagements and prefers quick high impact actions. In the context of Iran that means assassinating Khamenei.

Khamenei played with fire the day he allowed his pup Ahmadinejad to deliberately threaten Israel with annihilation (nuclear threat). It was done to create a bargaining chip against west for regimes survival. This is why Ahmadinejad was selected again in fraud elections because he was providing IRI with bargaining ammo by politicizing nuclear program. This way, Khamenei in a way put Iranian strategic security on bargaining table with enemy. Post Khatami-Clinton meeting, IRI was left with no purpose. Baathist Arab threat was gone, revolution spirit was dying. IRI could have opened the socialist stupid economy a bit, they could have partnered with whoever was willing to partner in modernising the hydrocarbon sector. But this would have defeated the purpose of revolution. Ayatollahs needed something to keep the nation rallied behind them hence came this nuclear game.

Ironically some people forget that if we go by Israeli and US leaks of Project Amad, Iran already had neutron gun read fission devices in 1990s along with IR-4 and IR-4M some eyars later that could provide LEU-HEU-WGU cycle at that time much before heavy duty IR-8/9. If actual nuclear ambition was there, Fakhrizadeh led team could easily build devices quietly in tunnels but Ahamdinejad intentionally allowed the global Jews lords and their controlled west to cripple Iran with sanctions.

What can the public do? The government will do what it wills. US is a highly controlled society, with an appearance of democracy, which does exist, but the decision makers and foreign policy is removed from public decision making. This is why presidential candidates never speak about their policy, media never asks them the tough questions during campaigns and the voting base is largely ignorant of who they’re actually voting for, usually it is based in emotions (i like him/her bc xyz), not based on actual policy.

My God, we're living in a comedy sketch. Trump is contemplating striking Iran to save Iranians, meanwhile, American citizens are executed by masked men in broad daylight....and there are massive rallies, much bigger than the ones in Iran going on in several cities.....you can't make this shit up. You might as well, grab a bottle and some snacks and watch this sad world burn itself down.
