Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Shamkhani sets out Iran's redlines:

- negotiations limited to the nuclear file

- Iran must enrich uranium up to 20%, but it can dilute the 60% HEU down to 20%

zero compromise

Let us hope for the best outcome for peace without the need for war, in a mutually acceptable manner.

New York Times, citing Iranian officials: The message indicates that #Iran may agree to transfer uranium to Russia, as it did in 2015.

Do we really need to find out the answer to that question?

War is best avoided.
I'm worried that the US doesn't take Iran seriously.
Like as if they don't care if their carrier might get sunk.
If Trump is wise he should break with Netanyahu, pull back the carriers, and genuinely sign a peace treaty with Iran.
But Nuttyahu wants this war, so we have to plan on how Iran can win this war while inflicting max casualties on the enemy.

You always said "war is best avoided" but what if the choice is not up to us? Sometimes war comes to us no matter how hard we want to avoid it. Even this negotiation is just a stalling tactic by the USA.
Then the only thing we can do is to plan and strategize how best to end the war while minimizing our casualties and maximizing the enemy casualties.

US does not seem confident in its military options

It can deliver them but it doesn't seem confident in containing the fallout if it initiates such a war -- which is based on reality faulty pretext of helping protestors

But now suddenly the protestors don't matter and it's about Iran's ballistic missile technology

Iran is in a better position to just hold out and not budge

US will likely back down. Leaving Israel to do its own dirty work if it wants to. Which it won't do without major US defenses deployed in region and without US greenlight to back them up

Of course I also believe the US military is magnitudes more ethical than the Israeli one. They won't pull off nasty Nazi technique of mass butchering civilians to achieve political objectives

This is something only Nazis of Israel do. They don't have capacity to do it in Iran. Only immediate neighbors. Israel just skips military objectives all together and resorts immediately to terrorism. Which should be punished by international community.

I do not think that worry is justified.

After all, Iran is the only military power in the region capable of defeating all other countries in the vicinity of rich oil resources that supply the world with energy.

I can assure you USA takes Iran very seriously indeed.

The military under previous governments might not have been inclined to cause indiscriminate mass destruction trump on the other hand if he thinks the war isn’t going his way I don’t think the 🌰 job would even hesitate sending the rest of the Moab all over Iran it’s that or sending hundreds of thousands of American soldiers to invade Iran they did it with Japan to prevent a deadly land invasion I don’t think trump wants another Iraq Afghanistan or Vietnam he wants a beautiful big victory

Several FMs of neighboring countries are reported to be showing up.

I wonder if this lends credence to the “enrichment consortium” idea where Iranian centrifuges will be used at a neutral site. Wishful thinking. But, Saudi Arabia has shown interest in nuclear enrichment and it’s likely Turkey has as well.

But what you posted saying Iran Offering to dilute HEU to 20% and continue enrichment is basically dead on arrival.

Iran is coming to the table with the same offer as pre June? Bold move

This is interesting if the Uranian Consortium idea is still on the table I think out of all the FM's present, Iran will likely trust Pak more. Add Pak is also a declared nuclear state so holding/processing it may be less of a political liability as well.

Assad lost his country to a surprise attack because he agreed to a ceasefire with HTS.
Nasrallah was killed in a surprise attack during negotiations to accept Israel's false ceasefire proposal.
Iran suffered a surprise attack during negotiations with Europe, resulting in the slaughter of its military leaders.
Seeing such foolish behavior persist—failing to learn from repeated failures and still pursuing negotiations, Trump simply cannot stop. Anti war factions everywhere actually want the enemy nation to adopt a hardline stance. Otherwise, they cannot convince hardline leaders or domestic public opinion that war demands a heavy price.
MAGA, which opposed war precisely because Iran wasn't taking a hardline stance, has now fallen completely silent.

Iran is willing to suspend or shut down its nuclear program to ease tensions, but prefers a U.S.-backed plan for a regional nuclear power consortium.

Officials said Ali Larijani recently delivered a message from Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to Vladimir Putin, offering to send Iran’s enriched uranium to Russia, as under the 2015 deal.
