They are fighting the US would fight. First targets are leadership and IADS and once those are taken care of they'll start hitting nuke sites with F-15's. It's going to be a while until Iran leadership (what's left) gets there bearings straight and launches a retaliatory strike.

Iran cannot win a war against Israel and US but it can make it extremely costly to attack Iran.

On the other hand Pakistan can hold its own in an all out war with India, for at least a month in this atrocious economy. In 1971 we had the capacity to fight for 6 months.
