Threat could be staged like initial attack here and there and then demand for surrender. If not then attack on navies.

Kuwait is too close to Iran and Iraq to effectively intercept drones with fighter jets.
It's highly questionable why Iran isn't sending large numbers of drones to Kuwait. They'll have to engage in close combat anyway.

I am pretty sure these countries were all in on it before the attack.
I do agree that this attack is going to end up doing nothing, because they aren't going to overthrow the Iranian government with this, and they won't even change the dynamic in the region.
But then this is throw away attack, they don't do much actually, but it pleases his base. He will say, "See? we attack Iran where the other admin stands by and is laughed at by the Iranian regime, I put an end to that". And yes, Trump supporter is very gulliable which you should have know by now.
