Why is this cock sucking administration prioritizing defending Israel over our own troops ?

Limited US and Israeli stockpiles of key air defense interceptors are shaping planning for the attacks on Iran, FT reported on Friday.
During last year’s 12-day war, Iran fired more than 500 missiles at Israel, and the US used up to 150 THAAD interceptors, the report noted. That was described to Congress as burning through munitions at an “alarming rate" by senior US Navy official Admiral James Kilby.
The Pentagon has ordered fewer than 650 THAADs since 2010 and plans to buy just 37 more in 2026. Analysts warn the US could expend roughly a year’s worth of defensive interceptors in just 1–2 days if Iran launches large enough missile and drone salvos.
Separately, naval ships need to return to port to reload, and offensive weapons like Tomahawks are also limited.

Officials say “magazine depth” will fundamentally govern any sustained air campaign. They told FT say it’s unlikely Iran could fully exhaust US defensive interceptors. But the real issue is trade-offs. Heavy use in an Iran conflict could drain stocks needed for:
• Ukraine
• Indo-Pacific planning against China

Because “magazine depth” is limited, the US may:
• Limit the scope or duration of strikes
• Avoid a prolonged air campaign
•
Prioritize defending US forces over shielding Israel
• Push Israel to absorb more of its own defensive burden
