Iranian rulers need to be under no illusion. They need to act fast because from this point onwards they won't even have the opportunity to react.

Pakistan made their ambition clear and still did it. The Iranians aren't as capable as they make themselves out to be.
 
The West is not afraid of Asim Munir, it is afraid of a takeover by Islamists. That is why they will target Pakistan in the short to medium term. Already Pakistan is claiming the the Taliban are backed by India and Israel. The diplomatic bleatings of the sheep raise no moral issues for the Wolf.

The equation is very simple for the Iranians. If the military rulers of Iran want to remain, they must test a WMD and go nuclear. I hope for their and Iran's sake that their nuclear programs is still somewhat in tact. We know that the Israelis bombed Iranian nuclear plants last year.
