The most they can do would be to carpet bomb the Hurmuz straits Iranian side and gain control in some areas there to reopen the straits. That is for the short term maximum. That should be calculated by Iran and Iranian fpv drone teams should be ready to strike back the landing soldiers Ukraine style and troop places well camouflaged and hidden. If no fpv drones acquired by Iran holding that area would be difficult though.
